Tom Cruise, Australian Gnats, and Angry Ghosts

I had a few new reviews go up this week over at Bloody-Disgusting.com and FreezeDriedMovies.com, and posted some random musings over at CampBlood.org, which has sadly taken a backseat this week due to all the non-horror screenings I've been subjected to. Here's a quick rundown, should you be so interested:

Mission: Impossible III, aka "The Little Egomaniac that Could"
The Proposition
The Gravedancers

Next week I have "Prairie Home Companion" and "Poseidon", and I could not be more excited at the one-two punch of Lindsay Lohan and gay Dreyfuss that's aimed directly at my medulla oblongata.

Maiden Voyage of the Good Ship Briantastico

So I've decided to start a personal blog that sort of combines a bunch of scattered writing and work I'm already doing, as well as to give me a forum to highlight and feature things that don't really fit into what I'm already doing. I'm actually kind of surprised myself at the lack of overlap that my writing gigs have had -- but then I guess that when starting a gay horror website I should have pretty much expected to be relegated to the dark corner of the cafeteria. Not that I mind, of course -- you can get away with a lot more in the dark, you know.

Naturally, as it has come time to write my first post, I have absolutely nothing to say. So I'll just leave you with a picture that I took while in New Jersey two years ago when attending my friend Dennis's father's retirement party.

Gotta love Jersey.

So as things come up, either personally or professionally, I'll post them here. At this point the goal is to be fairly regular, but as we all know, good intentions and dietary fiber are more commonly spoken of than actually served. Just ask the folks at Burger King.
